BRITISH AMBASSADOR VISITS HEARTLAND FARMS

The British Ambassador to Russia, Sir Tony Brenton, accompanied by James Beer head of the Moscow Embassy's Economic & Agricultural Section, spent the day with Heartland Farms as part of his visit to Penza.

The Ambassador attended the annual festival at Tarkhany on the Saturday to celebrate the life and work of the Penza poet, M. Lermontov. The Ambassador discussed the potential for further investment in the Penza Region by British companies and investors with the Penza Governor, Vaciliy Bochkarev, and the Presidents Representative, Grigoriy Rapota who was guest of honor at the festival.

The Ambassador spent Sunday visiting Heartland Farms in Belinsky accompanied Mikhail Kosoy, Penza Minister of Economics and Investment & Deputy Governor and the Head of the Sub-Region Sergey Papshev.
